OVERVIEW

Our normal booking period is Saturday to Saturday, however this can be flexible subject to fitting in with periods already booked, please enquire for availability.

Please book early to avoid disappointment, especially at peak periods. When you place a booking with us, you are deemed to have read and accept our terms and conditions as listed below and they form the basis of the contract between us.

TARIFF

Please note we will require a returnable Damage/Good House-Keeping deposit of £100 for every booking.

The deposit will be returned by bank transfer or cheque the day after your departure date or when we have completed our changeover cycle.

For weekly bookings the damage deposit will be payable with your final balance payment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.

We will provide a welcome pack on your arrival with the basic essentials to refresh you from your journey.

Short breaks are available and smaller groups accommodated throughout the year by arrangement, please contact Rob or Sue by phone or email.

Please note that any additional guests above the number confirmed at the time of booking will incur a charge of £35 per person per night.
If you or any of your original party have to vacate the cottage early you may not re-allocate the remaining period to anyone, whether friends or family.
When you or they leave the contract ends and we can re-let the remaining period at our normal tariff to any of your additional guests joining your party as stated above.

Short breaks are payable in full at the time of Booking.
Subject to a minimum charge of £720

For bookings at the weekly rate,
a non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks before the arrival date.

Non-payment of the amount due by the required date will be regarded as a cancellation and the owners are entitled to re-let the accommodation.
However, if we are able to re-let the same period, at the same rate, then the deposit would be refunded.

The cottage will be available from 4 p.m., on the day of your arrival, and in order
to facilitate cleaning etc., please vacate by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
The above times may be flexible by prior arrangement with the owners and subject to available time between changeovers.

Please note that visitors agree to leave the property in the same condition at the end of their stay, as they found it on arrival.

***PLEASE NOTE We reserve the right to charge a cleaning charge of £50 (The amount will be deducted from your damage/Excess cleaning deposit) if the property and especially the COOKER/ OVEN is left dirty on your departure***
(To cover the call out and cleaning charge of a specialist catering cleaner, as we do not have the time to thoroughly clean the appliance ourselves on a change-over day)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note that as a group you are individually, jointly and severally liable for any damage howsoever caused.

"NO SHOW" POLICY

If, for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without prior warning to Bodlondeb Holiday Cottage ("a no show"), this shall be considered a cancellation, all monies paid will be forfeited, please see section below on "Holiday Insurance"
We cannot accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances that are outside of our control.

You must notify us of any shortcomings with your accommodation immediately so that action can be taken.

We accept no responsibility or liability for any damage or injury to any member of the party, however caused.

The hirer must prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents.
Any behaviour or activity that disturbs neighbours or residents will result in the guests being asked to leave the property and treated as a cancellation. No refunds are issued and no alternative accommodation is provided.

Your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk as are all personal belongings left in the property.

The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any time without prior notice

We are not accountable for situations which could arise from beyond our boundaries, such as noise or disturbance. We cannot be held responsible for breakdown of utility services such as Water, Gas, Electric and Internet.

Force Majeure in these terms and conditions, means that any situation which is beyond our control, including and without limitations to Acts of God, such as floods, storms, snows, damage to property or machinery, Acts of War or Terrorism.
Or if the property is not available due to any changes in our personal circumstances such that we are unable to continue with the business for any reason or hardship.

If by reason of Force Majeure the property is not available at the commencement of the time booked by you or the property is unsuitable for letting at that time, we shall not be deemed to be in breach of contract but shall refund in full to you all fees, charges and any deposit paid in advance by you. We will not be liable for any other claim for loss or damage by you.

INTERNET - ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY

By accessing the internet on our network by our provision of the network identity code and the wireless access code or by any other method of access, you are deemed to agree to our terms of use, in that;

1. You agree not to access or download illegal or offensive material.

2. You agree not to attempt to access, modify or manipulate in any way the hardware components of the network or its operating software.

3. You agree not to download large high bandwidth data files & material such as movies and TV programmes that would constitute high data usage and thus overload or slow down access to the network for other users.

4. You agree that you are responsible and accountable to the relative authorities for any internet usage that is deemed to be illegal, offensive or in breach of security regulations.

5. You agree to our use of monitoring software that will record the time and sites accessed on our network during your stay.

Access Statement

There is a gradual slope from street level to the entrance door, and level access from cars parked on the drive.
On the ground floor there is level access to the porch, kitchen, dining room, lounge, twin-bedded bedroom and shower room with basin & toilet, the access to the shower has a small step of approx 1 inch (25mm).
We cannot advertise as wheelchair suitable as the door openings are a standard width of 2ft 9 inches (825mm).
Therefore anyone with mobility problems can enjoy the cottage without using the stairs to the upper floor.

We cannot be held responsible for changes in your circumstances that are outside of our control.

PAYMENT METHODS

Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank transfer.

We can accept payment by cheque made payable to R.M.SCOTT if sufficient time is available for clearance of the cheque, minimum time 8 days, from receipt.

We can now accept Credit & Debit Card Payments if you book through our listing at Holiday Lettings (Property Ref:135283)
